On 12th Sept, 2015 after the grand finale of Miss United Continents 2015, a winner named Nathalia Lago from Brazil was crowned. The 24-year-old Brazilian beauty and journalist stands 1.73m tall and defeated 27 other contestants to be crowned by Geisha Montes fo Dominican Republic, Miss United Continents 2014. Miss United Continents 2015, third edition of the pageant was held at Civic Center Theater Eloy Alfaro Guayaquil, Ecuador and broadcasted by Gama TV. Nathalia was also a contestant at Miss Mundo Brazil 2015 where she represented her region Marajó but unplaced.

The pageant was formerly referred to as “Miss Continente Americano” from 2006 - 2012,  for American beauties but was changed to Miss United Continents in 2013 to encourage participants from over the world.
