She was crowned by the outgoing queen, Miss Vermont Teen USA 2016 Alexandra Marek. Neely Fortune was crowned Miss Vermont USA 2016
Tammy was 1RU at Miss Vermont Teen USA 2015 and 4th at 2014 edition. She currently schools at South Burlington High School. She plans to combine her passion of helping people with her interest in healthcare to pursue a career as a nurse. She enjoys volunteering in her community, spending time outdoors, working as a lifeguard and staying active and fit. Tammy is fluently bilingual speaking not only English but also Serbo-Croatian, a language spoken in Southeastern Europe.
The only time Vermont won the Miss USA crown was when Charlotte Lopez won in 1993 after Kara Quinn of 1989 finished as 2RU. This year's delegate, Alexandra Marek finished as Top 15.
