Miss Universe Croatia 2015 Barbara Ljiljak has been officially replaced with Mirta Kustan as Miss Universe Croatia 2015. This change is due to the original winner, Barbara Ljiljak has a fractured arm caused by an accident she had days back. Therefore, she will not be able to participate in Miss Universe 2015 Pageant whose finale will be held
in Las Vegas on 20th December 2015.
22-year-old Mirta Kustan was 2nd runner-up at Miss Universe Croatia 2015 held in June. The beauty hails from Krapinske Toplice.
She has been a student of Law in Faculty of Law in Zagreb. Mirta looks
forward to become a very successful actress or a leader someday in
future.
Croatia debuted in Miss Universe in 1997 where Kristina Čerina
represented the country but went unplaced. Till date, Croatia have had
only 2 placement, first by Sarah Cosic in 2009 and second by Elizabeta
Burg in 2012. Both of them could not go beyond Top 15/16 in their
respective years.
